25.03.2025 Exciting news from the Biofabrication Group at the University of Bayreuth! Another project using our innovative biovature technology got funded!
In collabration with Dr. habil. Sahar Salehi-Müller (born Salehi), this interdisciplinary project focuses on developing engineered skeletal muscle tissues (ESMTs) as advanced in vitro models.

We built the first fully functional 3D printer with an innovative integrated fiber spinning unit that offers what electrospinning and electrowriting cannot.

Two projects of the Biofabrication Group at the University of Bayreuth, which use the innovative biovature technology, were funded. In one of them, the technology will be used to develop new self-actuating living materials. The second, is aimed at developing a novel biomimetic meniscus.
